Work out what you came for and close the tab. Nothing you type is kept unless you sign up and keep it on the horse's record. Every rule names the page it came from and the month we last read it.
Weight from a tape
A horse's weight from a heart girth and a body length, in kilograms and in stones, with the formula and the paper it comes from under the answer. Carter RA and Dugdale AHA, giving the formula of Carroll and Huntington (1988). Checked September 2026. Read again by March 2027.
Work out the weightA day's feed, and what the hay costs
A day's feed from the horse's weight, at the British Horse Society's figure, and what the hay costs at your own price. The British Horse Society. Checked September 2026. Read again by March 2027.
Work out the feedFarrier dates
The next four visits from the last one and how often the horse is done, and how they fall against a day you care about, such as a show or a holiday. No rule: the cycle is yours and your farrier's.
Work out the datesTo confirm
Flu jab checker
Whether a horse can compete on a day, from its flu jabs. Its rules are to confirm: nobody has read them against a governing body's rule book, and a wrong date would stop somebody competing.
To confirmKeep the answer. Signed in, a tool fills itself in from the horse you choose, and keeps the answer on the horse's record: a weight as a weight reading, hay as a line on the feed chart, and how often the farrier comes as the farrier cycle.
